I had so much energy, I was always in a great mood, zero appetite, and it really seemed to be working. Fast forward about 2 weeks… Things started going south fast. The happy feeling was gone, I was nauseated, I couldn’t sleep and when I worked out felt like my heart was pumping too hard. The best way I could describe it was that I was strung out. I felt like a crack head and I looked terrible. I have taken several diet and workout supplements and I’m not very sensitive to stimulants, but this stuff was so harsh. I thought I could just lower the dose. I skipped a day then cut the tab in half hoping it would take away these negative side effects. I took half a tab… 20 mins later I was on the floor shaking, dripping sweat, I couldn’t see straight…. And I was having trouble breathing!!!! Thank God I started vomiting non stop and got it out of my system because I really thought I was going into cardiac arrest. They say the stimulants in here are similar to amphetamines… Unless you feel being a meth head is cool and don’t mind heart issues, I would probably not waste your money or health on these.

My friend takes these and after telling her I can’t stop overeating she gave me one pill to try. I took it this morning and now, this afternoon, I’m in bed trying to come down from the effects. It started with stomach queasiness, shakiness, and body undulating. I try to throw up what was in my stomach and immediately got a pounding headache with hyperventilating. I thought I was going to go into cardiac arrest. I almost had my daughter drive me to the emergency room. I finally calmed down and got into bed. I will never put this product in my body again. I thought I was going to die. Like the other reviewer said, unless you crave uppers, DON’T TAKE THIS!
I can only recommend this product. People tend to forget that prior to using any workout supplements one should have a good idea of ones own physical and health state and sensitivity to stimulants. I have been training regularly (>4x/week), have tried out several stimulants on the market, and consider myself in on shape. With Dexaprine, as with any other supplements I start off with 1/3 to 1/2 of recommended daily dose to test how I react. After 2 years of use, I can safely take 3/4 of the pill. Using this approach I have only positive feedback on Dexaprine, increased energy and significantly improved cognitive functions….
