Insulin is a hormone that is produced in the pancreas. It is responsible for glucose uptake from the blood and its storage in tissues such as muscles, where it can be used for energy. Insulin also has other effects, including the promotion of protein synthesis.
Insulin is vital for maintaining blood sugar levels, providing energy for the body, and regulating other hormones. It is especially beneficial for people with diabetes, as it helps control their blood sugar levels. Additionally, insulin may help to protect against some diseases, such as heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
Insulin resistance is a condition in which the body becomes resistant to the effects of insulin. This means that the body does not use insulin properly, and the blood sugar levels become elevated. Insulin resistance is a common problem, leading to many serious health problems like heart disease and diabetes.
Several factors can contribute to insulin resistance, including obesity, physical inactivity, and genetics. However, there are also things that people can do to help reduce their risk of developing this condition. Some strategies include maintaining a healthy weight, being physically active, and eating a healthy diet.
Several supplements can be beneficial for people with insulin resistance. Omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, chromium, and fiber are some of the most important.
The GOLO diet emphasizes whole foods over processed foods, encourages healthy fats, and minimizes added sugars, all of which are expert-endorsed approaches to healthy weight loss. The GOLO Diet focuses on managing insulin levels to help promote weight loss. According to the diet’s website, the team of developers, which includes doctors, pharmacists, and researchers, designed the diet to help balance hormone levels, increase metabolism, and support steady and sustainable weight loss.
GOLO Release is a weight loss supplement that is effective for people with insulin resistance. It contains several beneficial ingredients for this condition, including omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, chromium, and fiber.
GOLO can help to improve the body’s ability to use insulin, which can help to reduce blood sugar levels and promote weight loss. Additionally, GOLO may help to protect against some diseases, such as heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
GOLO Diet & GOLO Release: Weight loss
GOLO is a diet program that includes a diet plan and a dietary supplement called Release. The GOLO diet is based on the idea that by controlling glucose levels, maintaining healthy insulin levels, and eliminating conventional starvation dieting, you can lose weight and improve your health safely and quickly. The GOLO Diet also encourages nutrient-rich whole foods like fruits, veggies, healthy fats, and lean proteins. This makes getting all the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants your body needs easier. The GOLO Diet encourages whole foods and discourages processed foods, sugar-sweetened beverages, and artificial sweeteners. The GOLO Diet prevents processed and refined foods and focuses on healthy whole foods. Here are some foods you’re encouraged to eat: Protein: eggs, meat, poultry, seafood, nuts, and dairy products. Carbs: berries, fruit, yams, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, beans, whole grains Vegetables: spinach, kale, arugula, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, zucchini Fats: olive oil, coconut oil, nuts, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseeds, GOLO salad dressing. The plan also promotes a supplement called GOLO Release, which contains an array of plant extracts and minerals that supposedly help regulate blood sugar levels, increase energy, and reduce hunger and cravings.
The GOLO Release supplement is clinically proven to work and comprises all-natural plant and mineral-based ingredients. The supplement promotes healthy weight loss by increasing metabolism and balancing insulin levels while providing added benefits such as improved energy, reduced hunger, and reduced stress and anxiety.
The GOLO Release supplement is made up of all-natural plant and mineral-based ingredients. Some ingredients include omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, chromium, and fiber. These ingredients are beneficial for people with insulin resistance as they help to improve the body’s ability to use insulin and reduce blood sugar levels. Additionally, GOLO Release may help to protect against some diseases, such as heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
According to their website, Release contains 7 plant-based ingredients and 3 minerals. Our body is familiar with plants and their healing properties and can metabolize plant material better than synthetic substances. The composition of plants, which includes carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals, is part of our biochemistry. Synthetics cannot mimic the antioxidant protection from plants’ oxidative stress. The ingredients in Release can help you regain metabolic balance and will not only help you lose weight but also supports overall well-being.

Ingredient Breakdown
Let’s take a closer look at the benefits of GOLO Release ingredients.
Magnesium (as Albion dimagnesium malate): Magnesium is an essential nutrient for the brain and body. It helps regulate blood sugar, among its many benefits. Yet a magnesium deficiency is often seen in people with diabetes.
Zinc (as TRAACS zinc glycinate chelate): Zinc acts like insulin when administered to insulin-sensitive tissue and stimulates insulin action. It binds to insulin receptors, activates insulin signaling pathways, and more, all of which result in glucose uptake by cells and glucose clearance from the blood. Zinc is also necessary for the correct processing, storage, and secretion of insulin, and it can protect against the β-cell loss, a hallmark of diabetes. Because zinc is closely tied to insulin functioning, zinc deficiency is associated with poor β-cell function and higher incidences of insulin resistance.
Chromium (as TRAACS chromium nicotinate glycinate chelate): Chromium is an essential trace element used by some people as a supplement. Perhaps most importantly, chromium forms a compound in the body that seems to enhance the effects of insulin and lower glucose levels.
Rhodiola extract (Rhodiola Rosea L root): Rhodiola has been shown to help protect against diabetes in rodents, suggesting it may be a valuable
supplement for diabetes management in humans. However, more research on humans is needed.
Inositol: Inositol is a carbohydrate found in your body and in food and dietary supplements. Inositol plays a role in insulin signaling and may sometimes improve the body’s sensitivity to insulin. Benefits have been seen in individuals with metabolic syndrome, women at risk for gestational diabetes, and women with PCOS.
Berberine Extract (Berberis vulgaris, bark, and root): Berberine is a compound found in many plants, including European barberry, Phellodendron, Oregon grape, goldenseal, and goldthread. Berberine has also been shown to lower glucose levels in people with diabetes. Studies show that it helps your body respond better to insulin and prevents your liver from creating more glucose. As a result, people with diabetes may find berberine helps lower their blood sugar levels. Berberine effectively reduces blood sugar and HbA1c, which are elevated in people with diabetes. It works as well as some pharmaceutical drugs.
Gardenia extracts 10:1 (Gardenia jasminoides, fruit): Gardenia is a plant. The fruits are used to make medicine. Geniposide, one of the main ingredients of Gardenia jasminoides, is effective in inhibiting body weight gain and improving abnormal lipid levels, high insulin levels, impaired glucose intolerance, and insulin resistance.
Banaba extract (Lagerstroemia speciosa, leaf): Banaba leaves are renowned for lowering blood sugar levels. In addition, they’ve been shown to improve risk factors for heart disease and provide antioxidant and anti-obesity activity. Research suggests that these leaves are a safe herbal remedy.
Salaretin Salacia extracts 6:1 (Salacia reticulata, bark): Salaretin® is a standardized extract from Salacia reticulata bark, containing an optimal amount of mangiferin and salacinol. Salacia Reticulata is a medicinal herb from Ayurveda that appears to have anti-diabetic activities, namely by inhibiting carbohydrate uptake from the intestines; it seems pretty effective at this, similar to Acarbose in potency.
Apple extract (Malus Domestica, fruit): Apples are one of the most popular fruits in the world. Apples have a minimal effect on blood sugar levels and are unlikely to cause rapid spikes in blood sugar, even in those with diabetes. They’re also highly nutritious.

Warnings:

The possible side effects are the following but are not limited to:
Before starting the GOLO Release, there are a few warnings and precautions. Check out what the users have to say about GOLO Diet and Release:
“I did not lose any weight using this although I reduced my calories. They stood behind their money-back promise.”
-Sherry Coats“I have struggled with my weight for 20 years. Once I got out of the military (due to injury and surgery) I couldn’t workout like I used to. I tried to lose weight by eating right and portion watching… nothing worked. In 3 months of using this product I have lost 40 lbs and I am once again with in the height and weight standards of the military! Thank you so much GOLO!! Don’t get discouraged by bad reviews. If you are looking for something that works this is it! It truly worked for me.”
-Chris W.“I have only been on the product for a week, but already seeing weight loss results. Before, this product, I was struggling to lose. I was delighted to find that it came packaged with the advertised entire system: GOLO Meals and achievable results Plans. The 30-day plan also includes access to the member’s only website. The same value as buying direct.”
-Denise“Although I did lose the weight, I also eat a plant-based diet and do intermittent fasting. I eat very very very healthy foods. A few months in to taking Golo Release supplement I experienced excruciating headaches, dizziness and nausea. It got so bad to the point I was hospitalized because my head spinning would not stop in my nausea was excruciating.”
-Judith“I am 67 years old and have been trying to lose weight. This product has not been effective in weight loss, but has kept my weight stable.”
-Roger Stalick“The GoLo diet materials were easy to understand and follow, but the capsules were really a waste of money. I have no more energy than if I’d taken a B12 vitamin. I gave the product and the diet a month and my weight stayed the same. I’ve had better success with the South Beach Diet and I’m now back on that. There is no magic pill that will take the weight off, just fewer calories in and more calories expended.”
-Anne“Personally, I didn’t lose a lot of weight using this product by itself. However, to be fair, I did not follow the enclosed diet plan. I did limit my caloric intake but did not go low-carb. The makers say it will have optimum effect when used with the diet plan. The diet plan is basically low-carb. It doesn’t prohibit carbs but definitely limits them. I want to try another month with following the diet plan. I believe it does help with removing excess water weight gain and bloating but mine was only temporary. The first week I took these pills I lost about 5 pounds of excess water.”
-Sheryl“Tried every diet and never been success until now…. I’ve tried every diet there is and have never been successful until now. My husband died in April and at 252 lbs I needed to lose the weight. I decided to try again using Golo Release, a balanced diet and exercise. I thought it would be hard but it wasn’t. It truly has been the easiest and I believe most enduring. Today I weighed in at 201. That’s a 51 lb loss. My goal is 170, I know I’ll make and maintain it.”

its all a bounch of bulshit its not what its made from its all about burning the leporie and no more counting any calories……….
Golo Release capsules elevated my blood pressure so high I had to be admitted to the hospital through the ER. I had to stay for 2 days trying to get my BP down. My Endocrinologist informed me the Rhodiola can significantly raise blood pressure.
Has anyone experienced any rashes or allergic reactions after taking Golo? I have a rash that started on my head and over a period of two week I have a rash on my chest. My under arm on my right side and down my right leg. It has been a month that I have been taking the Release Supplement. I never had any rashes before taking the supplement. Has anyone else experienced allergic reactions?
I’ve had nothing but awesome results! But it is coupled with diet and exercise folks. And it’s not created for 20 lbs a month weight loss! My biggest area of concern was losing the extra inches. Which it does. And with that, I lose some weight as well! But it’s like 1-2 lbs per week on average. So I guess no, being on it for 2 weeks you probably WON’T see a significant change. My husband gave it a go and had headaches…..until he quit caffeine. Then he progressed just fine! I’ve never had issues with customer service, or the cost. Mine was $59 for 2 bottles – a 2 month supply. My blood sugar numbers are improved as well!
I’m finding this review site quite shady though. I mean, WHY on earth would you review a product, just to push out another one? Sounds like sketchy advertising to me.
NOT EVERY PRODUCT OUT THERE WORKS FOR EVERYONE! And unfortunately, being diabetic, there are a LOT that don’t. However, you will never know until you try it. All I’m saying is, like everything else in life, it’s going to take effort and change. 🙂
